Persian Cats of New Mexico

I’m Andisheh, a Persian girl hailing from Iran, as you can see from my Ancestry DNA results on the right.

As a child, I cherished the dream of having a Persian cat, but my mother believed I was allergic to them. So, sadly, I never got to have one. After moving to America to pursue my education, I met Derek within a year, and we’ve been together ever since. Time always seemed to slip away, preventing me from realizing my cat dream. Then, the pandemic hit, and I saw my chance. 

However, Derek insisted he was allergic to cats, and it seemed like a dead-end. I knew he wasn’t much of a cat person. Frustration mounted, and I made a decision against his wishes. He was disappointed, but he came up with the idea of getting allergy shots when we adopted a kitten. To our surprise, when we brought the little white fluff ball (picture on the left) home, neither of us showed any allergic reactions. We fell head over heels in love with him. He was so incredibly cute and endearing that it felt like he was the only love we’d ever known. We named him Aabi, which means ‘blue’ in Persian, inspired by his beautiful, unique sapphire-blue eyes. Suddenly, we became a blissful cat family, adding a new feline member every year. We adore our cats as if they were our own children, putting them before anything else, showering them with love, and relishing every moment with them. Since those early days with Aabi, I’ve always held a wish close to my heart – to see Aabi’s adorable kittens, just like him. And now, my wish is finally coming true.

When it comes to Aabi’s kittens, our main aim is to match them with families who are truly dedicated to their cats, treating them like beloved family members and showering them with even more care and affection. 

Our cats bring immeasurable joy to our lives, and we want nothing less for Aabi’s precious little ones. We believe that when they find their forever homes with responsible and loving families, they will continue to be cherished and adored, just as they are with us. In this way, our feline friends can bring happiness and warmth to even more households, creating a ripple of love and companionship that extends beyond our own homes.
